Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy (1828-1910): The great author of War and Peace, Resurrection and the Kreutzer Sonata, he conveyed not only social events but also the feelings of the individual with his extraordinary ability to describe.

The author, in one of his most famous works, Anna Karenina , dealt with the topics of marriage, love and death with a deep power of observation and handled it with his magnificent literary genius.

The novel was serialized in the Ruskiy Vestnik magazine between 1875 and 1877 and was first published in 1878.

Many writers and critics consider Anna Karenina the greatest novel of all time. Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina has been adapted to the cinema many times.
