Volkan Yalçıntoklu (1961): He studied at Saint-Joseph High School. He graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Medical Biology and Genetics. He has been a librarian for many years. He translates from French and English. Authors whose works he translated include Jules Verne, Helene DeWitt, Alan Snow, Richard Maltby Jr., Lyman Frank Baum, Honoré de Balzac, Alexandre Dumas (père), George Sand, Charles Perrault and Victor Hugo. He translated Alexander Dumas's Three Musketeers and Black Tulips into Turkish as part of the Hasan Âli Yücel Classics Series.
