Günay Çetao Kızılırmak (1981): He lived in the Republic of Adygea in Russia, where he settled in 1994, for 13 years. After graduating from the Department of Russian Language and Literature here, she started to translate short stories and novels. He translated various works of great Russian writers such as Pushkin, Gogol, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and Chekhov. He brought the stories and novels of contemporary Russian writer Vladimir Makanin and Soviet writer Andrey Platonov into our language. He translates from various Russian poets. He lives in Ankara. |
